EVENT AND SPONSOR REGISTRATION BEGINS 11/17/08

New Beginnings is very excited to announce our 3rd Annual WalkRunRide for the Cause fundraiser is scheduled for April 25th, 2009 in Downtown Portsmouth. Funds raised for the event will go to support New Beginnings Development Services mission to open a transitional home for young mothers that will enable them to complete a career education in a college, major university, or vocation. We currently maintain and shelter young mothers ages 13-17 along with their babies. The young girls in our home and that we service do not have stable home or a family to reside with. We offer shelter, counseling, and many other services to these young mothers in need to live independently with their children. In addition it is our mission to teach prevention and abstinence.

With any community service program or non-profit, our mission cannot continue to be successful with out the support and generosity of others. Please, see the attached flyer and brochure detailing the event and our sponsorship levels. We have sponsorship levels ranging from $150 to the Platinum Sponsorship of $5,000. It is only with your help can we continue to be a success in enabling these girls to live successfully in our community.

This event has something to offer for everyone, whether you are a motorcycle rider, a walker, or running fanatic, We take pride in making all our events a family affair, for we believe our community strength will be built upon strong families. So bring your blankets and come out to enjoy a celebration of love! There will be food, fun, music, exercise, and children’s activities.
